My husband and I had to take our precious Gradie (he's a shitzhu/lasa apsa mix) in for a checkup here, we didn't have a family vet for him since our move.
Out of approx 6 different vets, they had immediate appts available to see him, and the most reasonable prices.
Our Gradie developed a cough, he'd also been having seizures/passing out =we weren't exactly sure what it was?
We were greeted so warmly, every member of the staff made us feel comfortable the entire visit.
Dr. McClure worked so hard to figure out the problem, she only went on to the next test if she wasn't satisfied w/results. She did this due to our strained finances, keeping Gradie's health top priority. She had the answer with one X-ray=she did warn it may take more if she couldn't see images of whole chest,heart,lungs,ECT... We learned he had enlarged heart causing it to press on trachea, that caused coughing, into airway restriction to fainting. Medication 2 per daily from here on,and within 3 days everything bad stopped happening❤ Gradie is everything to us, he IS our baby, yes we spoil & treat him as if he is human=because he is 😉😀 lol
Thank you all,and your Gradie's permanent vet Dr McClure😍
